Commenting on the Queen’s COVID status, Britain’s prime minister, Boris Johnson wished her a quick recovery from the virus and return to “vibrant good health”. The unexpected news comes only weeks after the reigning monarch reached her Platinum Jubilee of 70 years on the 6th of February, making her Britain’s longest-serving monarch.
The queen who turns 96 in months had her first COVID 19 vaccine dose in January 2021, and it is expected that she had the subsequent jabs after.
