The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced on Wednesday that all protective corp members will be tested for COVID 19 before being admitted into orientation camps nationwide.
The latest announcement was made ahead of the Batch B Stream II orientation exercise.
The organization announced that 60,000 COVID 19 test kits were received from the Theophilus Danjuma Foundation to aid the process.
The testing has also been mandated for all camp officials who will be at every camp for the 3 weeks orientation.
The NYSC board revealed that corps members that test negative for the virus will be allowed on camp while those that test positive will be released to the Nigeria Centre for a Disease Control Surveillance team in camp.

Katsina state Coordinator, Alhaji Ahidjo Yahaya revealed that the directive was put in place to safeguard the life of all corp members during their stay.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the 2021 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course began on Wednesday, September 1st 2021.
