The Times India has reported a COVID 19 scam that was allegedly perpetrated by a Nigerian man.
41 year old Chibuikem Daniel was arrested for scamming people of money for the COVID vaccine and failing to deliver.
Daniel received advanced payment of (N56, 576) each for three COVID 19 vaccines and tried to flee with the money.
The culprit was arrested in South Delhi after a complaint from the victim of the scam.
The alleged criminal was also accused of committing other crimes with another accomplice who is yet to be accosted.

Following his arrest, 2 laptops, 8 mobile phones, 18 SIM cards, 17 ATM cards, and cash worth N285,709 were recovered from him.
Daniel was able to capitalise on the COVID crises in the country to defraud his victims.
