The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) will commence phase 2 of COVID 19 Vaccination today.

The agency will be administering 4 million doses of the Moderna vaccine and 177,600 doses of the Janssen vaccine as the country battles the third wave of the pandemic.

It will be recalled that vaccination was initially scheduled to begin on August 10 but it was postponed by the federal government to August 16.

Although the Moderna vaccines are double dose vaccines like AstraZeneca received earlier this year, the Janssen vaccines are taken in single shots.
