The entire Nigerian High Commission in Central London has now gone into isolation and President Buhari is expected to do the same
Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and members of his delegation to the United Kingdom are set to isolate after a two-week visit to London.

The President and the others are reportedly at risk of the virus after the UK High Commissioner, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola tested positive for the virus.
Amb. Isola was seen in close contact with the president during Buhari’ visit to the UK, after welcoming Buhari alongside other members of the embassy staff.

Every member of the Nigerian High Commission in London is now in complete isolation for 10 days to reduce the risk of the spread of COVID 19.
Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu confirmed to The Guardian that President Buhari will do the same.
According to Garba Shehu, the president and members of his delegation will go into isolation in line with the guidelines for travel abroad.

President Buhari returned to Nigeria on Friday after a visit to the United Kingdom that lasted two weeks.

The President initially participated in the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education then he stayed back for a check-up.
