His successor will be Ami Gan who was formerly the company’s head of communications and marketing.

While the decision to appoint the company’s spokesperson as its CEO came as a shock, it was reportedly made by Stokely himself, who will now serve the company as an advisor to the company.

Speaking after her appointment as the CEO, Gan said:

“We’ve worked side-by-side sharing our passion about the creator economy. Our priority is to continue being committed to being the safest social media platform in the world.”

Gan also disclosed that she will be paying attention to developing OFTV, the company’s safe-for-work streaming app, as well as developing new tools for creators.

Before her role at OnlyFans, Gan had worked for other top brands such as Red Bull, Quest Nutrition, and a cannabis cafe.

The changes in the company come only a few months after OnlyFans revealed that it was banning pornography content creators from its platform before reversing the decision a few days later.
