The pornography ban is a result of pressure from payment processors and the company will now focus on other forms of content
Starting from October, users will not be allowed to post or watch pornographic content on Onlyfans.
The content subscription platform has announced that all forms of sexually explicit content will be banned, starting from the 4th quarter of the year.

The ban on adult content is a result of pressure from payment processors on the subscription company.
The company however revealed that some posts with nudity will be allowed on the platform but only if they are not portrayed as sexually explicit.
Onlyfans has revealed that it will be focusing more on mainstream content, ranging from chefs to yoga instructors.
Although the subscription platform has been around for 4 years, it only became popular during last year’s lockdown.

The company has generated billions in revenue between then and now as over 130 million users signed up to subscribe to content from their favourite creators.
