Even though Elon Musk is the richest man in the world, the Tesla CEO doesn’t have a home to his name after selling the last of his housing property.
The Tesla CEO mansion in Silicon Valley, California up for sale earlier this year, and it has recently been snapped up.
The mansion which used to belong to Gene Wilder was initially listed for $37.5 million but after failing to find a buyer for months, it was relisted with another agent at a lower price.
Although the identity of the buyer remains unknown, the billionaire earlier revealed that “It just has to be for a large family that is going to live there.”
Musk is fully focused on building the world’s first city on Mars and he has claimed that he needs lots of money to make that dream a reality.
The Tesla boss is currently living in a $50,000 box home that was developed within the SpaceX facility in Texas.

He said:
“My main house is literally a $ 50,000 or so house in Boca Chica, Starbase, that I rent from SpaceX,”
Bloomberg Billionaires Index indicates that Elon Musk is currently worth $282 billion, $80 billion more than rival Jeff Bezos.
