American Rapper Gunna Accused of Crypto Scam

  • Some Twitter users have accused American rapper Gunna of taking part in a cryptocurrency scam
  • The rapper promoted a cryptocurrency project called “PushinPETH” that rug-pulled only a few hours after it launched
  • This comes after the rapper spoke about his interest in the metaverse when he was interviewed on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club”

With cryptocurrency gaining more popularity globally, most celebrities are trying to get in the game but not everyone is doing it in the right way.

Gunna

A prime example of this was seen when American rapper Gunna was dragged on Twitter for promoting a “scam” cryptocurrency project.
A few days ago, the Atlanta rapper shared a tweet about a crypto project that he had been working on called “PushinPETH”.
This tweet about the coin which was reportedly based on his song “Pushin P” was however taken down only a few days later.

A Twitter user has narrated the reason for that, claiming that the project suffered a rug pull only a few hours after the rapper promoted it on Twitter.

According to the Pushin PETH website, it is a decentralized movement that offers something unique and never before seen on the blockchain, complete and total access to your favorite artist- Gunna

Fans who invested in the cryptocurrency after seeing it on the rapper’s Twitter page effectively lost all their money as its value dropped to zero.

It would also be noted that the project was promoted by another artist called YNW Melly, and neither he nor Gunna has commented about the sudden crash of the cryptocurrency.
