Popular rappers Travis Scott and Drake have been sued by Texas firm Thomas J. Henry Law for “incited mayhem” that caused the death of 8 people at a Texas concert.
The law firm confirmed the news on Sunday by tweeting a story published by the Daily Mail on the suit.
The accuser is a 23-year-old lady Kristian Paredes who was one of the people that were severely injured at the concert on November 5.
According to BBC, Travis Scott who was performing with around 50,000 people were in the audience when the crowd started pushing for the stage, causing a stampede.
Paredes is also suing the organizers of the concert Live Nation and the venue.
Parades claims that when the crowd become chaotic, many asked security guards hired by Live Nation Entertainment for help as they declined.
The suit which was filed in Houston’s Harris County court also accesses Canadian rapper Drake of further inciting the crowd.

According to the complaint charges, Drake continued to perform despite the crowd being out of control.
Ben Crump an attorney in the United States also filed a lawsuit against the two artists on behalf of 21-year-old concertgoer Noah Gutierrez who claims the scene was chaotic.
