Man Loses N360 Million in Shocking Bitcoin Fraud

Yet again, another person has fallen victim to Bitcoin fraud as more people try to adjust to the use of Cryptocurrency.

Naveed Saghir a 44-year-old graduated has a home cinema business in northwestern England.

After a lot of hard work, the businessman was able to gather £500,000 and earlier this year, the money was invested in Bitcoin.

However, his entire life savings was lost after an attack by internet fraudsters who stole everything.

According to Naveed, he was watching a YouTube video when he saw an offer to invest in stocks and shares.

He filled in to apply a na the next day, he got a call from an agent who convinced him to pay £250 to start trading.

Naveed got more calls from an account manager who pushed him into investing, each new investment bigger than the last.

By the end of August, he realized that he had been tricked into paying £18,000 sterling and 14.25 BTC.

Altogether, the Bitcoin scam cost him £500,000 at today’s exchange rate.

Naveed still struggles to figure out how the criminals were able to make him a victim but he has seized the opportunity to sensitize others to prevent s them from falling prey.
