Ethereum gained the most by moving from $2,190 to $2,347, an increase of 4.5% in the last 24 hours.
Flagship cryptocurrency Bitcoin was also green for the day after rising to $35,500, an increase of 2.45%.
The rise of cryptocurrencies has been aided by news that Coinbase is set to expand its team in India.
The CEO of the crypto exchange, Brian Armstrong tweeted that a new office is being set up in the Asian country and the exchange will also hire staff in the country.
