A 20-years-old housewife in Kano have been arrested for killing a girl her husband had proposed to marry.
The victim, Aisha Kibir was set to marry Malam Shahrehu Alhaji, and become a co-wife with her eventual killer
The Kano State Police Command confirmed the incident and disclosed that further investigation is ongoing

The Kano State Police command has confirmed the arrest of Suwaiba Shuaibu a 20-year-old housewife, after allegedly stabbing one Aisha Kabir to death.
The deceased, Aisha was said to have accepted a marriage proposal from the husband of the suspect Malam Shahrehu Alhaji Ali, before her murder by her to-be co-wife .
The incident happened on January 1 at Gimawa village, Doguwa Local Government Area of Kano State.
DSP Abdullahion Haruna Kiyawa, the spokesman, Kano police command confirmed the incident in a statement issued on Tuesday,. Kiyawa disclosed that during interrogation, the suspect freely confessed that on the said day, she had called the victim on phone and lured her to an uncompleted building where she she stabbed her multiple times with a knife.
