What You Wear Doesn’t Matter…Cynthia Morgan
Cynthia Morgan has been pouring out her heart since morning on Twitter. Talking about civilization and wondering what it really means. I really don’t know what triggered her tweets but it progressed from talks of civilization into dressing.
“What you wear doesn’t really matter. I mean, in the olden people didn’t really wear cloths. What mattered was their hearts.”
Hmmmm, who agrees with her? Should people wear what they want? Be careful before you say yes because you will not believe your eyes how people’s minds can be.
WhileI believe the heart is what matters, I also believe that people should also cover up. I am not in any place to judge anyone so I don’t.
Comparing the olden days and now juxtaposing two different eras that are poles apart. Besides, in the olden days, people were more disciplined and there were cultures that upheld certain standards of living and people revered it. Now people don’t care, they just commit crimes regardless of the consequences.
The rate of rape is high and people are already blaming it on the ways girls dress (I don’t agree with this). So imagine if people especially women are allowed to wear what the want.
Anyway, she said that “some well clothed people do what some naked people won’t do.” I totally agree with this line.
“People view you by what they see…#myopic I must say. That’s why the worst criminals are either on suits or natives. wow, this one na confirm truth. See wetin our politicians dey do us? Hahahahahaha…@suit and natives.
