WhatsApp’s Stunning New Feature is What Everyone Has Been Asking For

  • Social media giant, WhatsApp is set to launch a new feature that will allow users to call numbers that are not saved on the phone
  • The new feature will also make it easier for messages to be sent to users that are not on your contact list
  • Also, the company is putting a limit on how many times forwarded messages can be sent to several group chats

WhatsApp is one of the world’s most used instant messaging apps and communication platforms. It is almost impossible to go a day without tapping on that green logo in your phone’s menu, and the company plans to keep it this way.

Have you ever wondered how stressful having to save contacts before calling or texting them on WhatsApp is? The company doesn’t want you to worry about that anymore. It is set to launch a solution that allows you to send messages to unsaved phone numbers.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned company will introduce a feature that will allow users to send messages to phone numbers that are not listed on their contacts. The report says that users will be able to call these people without saving the phone numbers as well.

When the update is launched, you can tap on an unsaved number that has been sent to you in a chat, and send the person a message if the contact is registered to WhatsApp.

In addition to this, WABetaInfo’s report says that the messaging platform is set to prevent users from forwarding messages to more than one group at a time. In the coming update, when users try to forward already forwarded messages to several groups, they’ll be met with an alert that says “Forwarded messages can only be sent to one group chat”.
