Meta to Launch Message Reactions For WhatsApp

• The feature is still however under development and will not be available to beta users just yet

Meta is set to introduce message reactions to its instant messaging platform WhatsApp.

The reaction feature which is already available on Facebook and Instagram will allow Whatsapp users to react to messages with stickers.

The information of this release was shared by WABetaInfo, which has a record for leaking WhatsApp features ahead of official reveal.

The feature is however still under development and may not be available to WhatsApp beta users for a while.

A leaked screenshot showed that all message reactions will be listed in a separate tap from emojis.

The report adds that users will only be able to react to a message once and there will be 6 different reactions to select from.

Although the feature is only being developed for iOS users at the moment, an update for Android users is expected to follow after.
