The Gmail app has reached 10 billion installs on Android, becoming only the fourth app to achieve this.

The three other apps to have attained this milestone on the Google Play store are Google Play Services, YouTube, and Google Maps.

The email service which was launched in 2004 has gained more popularity as Google keeps updating it with new features.

The latest update named “Undo Send” allows users to recall emails that were sent within different time frames.

Before the app only had a standard 5-second window to recall any mail that was sent out mistakenly, but the “Undo Send” feature offers the option of additional time frames- 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 20 seconds, up to 30 Seconds.

The feature is available on Gmail for Web as well as the mobile apps for Android and iOS.
