Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao has topped a list of cryptocurrency billionaires with an estimated net worth of $96 billion.
According to Bloomberg, the Chinese-Canadian ranks 11th among the world’s richest people, which sees him overtake Mukesh Ambani as Asia’s richest man.
CZ’s wealth comes from his stake in Binance which has been ranked the biggest crypto exchange in terms of trading volume.
Zhao’s current estimated net worth does not include his personal crypto holdings and the exchange’s Binance coin.
Changpeng Zhao is currently short of Oracle co-founder Larry Elisson by $11 billion.

It is likely Zhao’s wealth could rival that of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Google founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, according to Bloomberg.
Among his crypt peers, 44-year-old’s closest rivals are FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried worth $15.4 billion and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong ($8.9 billion).
