The transportation world is about to experience its biggest change in decades.
This is following news that aircraft company Vertical Aerospace is set to launch electric air taxis in the United Kingdom.
The VA-X4 is expected to travel at a speed of up to 100 miles per hour, offering faster transportation over short distances.
A prototype of this vehicle is currently in the works and it will undergo its first test flight later this year.
What to know about the VA-X4
The VA-X4 electric air taxis will be faster than regular helicopters without releasing as much carbon emission as the latter.
The manufacturing company Vertical Aerospace which was founded 5 years ago, developed this aircraft that a capable of carrying 4 passengers and the pilot up to a range of 120 miles.

Leasing company, Avolon also preordered 500 to be used in Dublin, Ireland.
