The name Malcolm X rings a bell because he was one of the most famous and influential African Americans in history.

Malcolm X was the leader of the Nation of Islam and he fought for equal rights for blacks during his time.

Despite doing his best to promote peace, critics accused the religious leader of inciting violence between both races.

Malcolm X was killed by members of a rival Muslim group Talmadge Hayer, Norman Butler, and Thomas Johnson on the 21st of February 1965.

Mohandas Mahatma Gandhi

Lincoln was shot in the back of the head and killed by the injury sustained the next day.

Luther King was a Baptist minister and an activist who led a civil rights movement to abolish the segregation of African Americans in the United States.

Luther King also famously won the Nobel peace prize in 1964 due to his effort in the fight for equality.

Martin Luther King was killed by a convict who escaped from prison, James Earl Ray.

Ray reportedly stalked King for days and shot him from the window of a nearby house while MLK was on the balcony of the Lorraine Motel.

John F. Kennedy

The 35th President of the United States was killed while riding in a convoy in Texas on November 22, 1963.

The killer Harvey Oswald, shot Kennedy from the window of the Texas School Book Depository building.

Oswald tried to escape the police, killing Patrolman J.D. Tippit in the process.

He was finally apprehended but before he could be questioned, he was killed by Jack Leon Ruby.
