Popular Nigerian singer Olanrewaju Fasasi, also known as Sound Sultan has been diagnosed with cancer of the throat.
The singer has reportedly been flown to the United States, where he is receiving treatment in an unknown hospital.
Although the singer did not reveal this outrightly, he hinted at his current situation via a post on social media.
A post on the musician’s Instagram page reads:
“In the words of Terminator …….. I Will be back.”
Many fans and celebrities have flooded the star’s Instagram page, wishing him well and extending their prayers.

Sound Sultan’s career in the music industry spans almost 3 decades.
In the early 90s, he featured in several local talent shows, many of which he won.
He released his first official single “Jagbajantis” in 2000, and it was a nationwide hit.
