President Buhari Revealed That He His Originally From Niger Republic: Colonel Nyiam

-A retired colonel of the Nigerian army, Tony Nyiam has revealed that Buhari is from the Niger Republic

-In an old interview with Arise TV that surfaced, Nyiam stated that President Buhari made this revelation to them publicly

-Buhari has claimed to be a native of Daura over time, an area that is close to the Niger Republic border

A retired colonel of the Nigerian army, Tony Nyiam has declared that President Buhari revealed that he is from the Niger Republic.

This was seen in an old Interview that Arise TV conducted with Nyiam that was shared by Reno Omokri.

The retired military man turned activist revealed that Buhari told him and some soldiers during a briefing that he and many of his family members were Nigeriens. He however added that he owes allegiance to Nigeria.

Colonel Nyiam

Nyiam claims that General Muhammadu Buhari was his General Commanding Officer and he went against Shagari to defend Nigeria’s interest against Chad.

Nyiam however believes that the current President is no longer Muhammadu Buhari and his wife should be questioned about those who are holding him hostage.

Buhari’s side, Femi Adesina was questioned about the President’s nationality by PeoplesGazette but he refused to comment.

Niger is a West African country that is bordered by Nigeria to the south.

Buhari has frequently claimed to be from Daura in Katsina state, which is close to the border that Nigeria shares with Niger.

This is not the first time that such claims have been made about the President’s Citizenship. Following his re-election in 2019, reports emerged claiming that President Buhari is from the Niger Republic.
