Over 300 Zamfara School Girls Released By Bandits(Pictures)

The government has secured the release of over 300 female students that were abducted by bandits from their boarding school in Zamfara state.
The news was passed in a tweet by the governor of Zamfara state, Dr. Bello Matawallein in the early hours of Tuesday.
The governor also share pictures of the released girls as they wore matching outfits and we’re welcomed back from captivity.
The Governor celebrated the release of the Zamfara school girls and enjoined other well-meaning Nigerians to join him in the celebration.

The 317 girls were kidnapped by bandits from Government Girls Secondary School in the town of Jangebe.
The bandits reportedly staged the attack at 1:45 am on Friday, February 26. They went unopposed for over 2 hours before leaving.
Although they came on 20 motorcycles, the girls were matched into the forest when they left.
Abduction has been a constant occurrence in the Northern part of Nigeria. This abduction was after that of 27 school boys in Niger state, who were only recently released.
