Breaking: Armed Bandits Abduct Over 300 girls in Zamfara Girls College

-This is coming a few weeks after the abduction of 27 schoolboys in Niger state
Armed men who are suspected to be bandits invaded Government Girls Secondary School in the early hours of Friday.
The armed bandits kidnapped more than 300 girls from the school as reported by a staff of the school.
The staff stated that the incident happened around 1 am on Friday, stating that some of the bandits pretended to be security personnel and they brought Hilux vehicles and motorcycles.

They later broke into the school and left with more than 300 students.
The staff also stated that the bandits were in the school for several hours and they were not challenged due to the absence of security agents.
While speaking to The PUNCH, a parent or one of the kidnapped students, name given as Malam Lawal Jangebe said that he nearly fainted after hearing about the abduction.
Mohammed Shehu, the State Police Public Relations Officer also confirmed that the incident, stating that the police were headed to the school.
This Zamafara girls college abduction is coming only 8 weeks after the abduction of 27 schoolboys in Government Science College in Kagara, Niger State.
