Activist Omoyele Sowore’s Brother Killed by Herdsmen

Olajide Sowore the younger brother of Sahara Reporters Publisher Omoyele Sowere has been killed.

Olajide was reportedly attacked by herdsmen today September 4 on his way back from Igbinedion University in Edo state.

According to Omoyele Sowore, his brother was a student of the school after deciding to study pharmacy in his latter years.

The statement from the activist reads;

“My immediate younger brother, Olajide Sowore was today shot and killed near Okada in Edo State by reportedly herdsmen/kidnappers on his way from Igbinedion University in Edo State where he is studying Pharmacy.”

Omoyele penned a heartfelt tribute to his deceased brother, stating that he was the one that made everyone happy in their household.

He added that his brother was able to think outside the box, which led him to create his own genre of music.

Olajide Sowore later decided to go to school and study a course that he was interested in- Pharmacy.

“You, the guy who was an out-of-the-box thinker who decided school wasn’t for you and created you own genre of music and then turned around to go to school after you almost turned 50!”
