The governor of Lagos State is set to extend his hostility against Commercial motorcyclists in the state.

He recently disclosed that they will be a total ban on Okada in the state, starting from July 2021.
While speaking during the launch of 500 First and Last Mile Buses (FLM), Sanwo Olu claimed that the motorcycles in the state were being used for criminal activities.

He also claimed that the use of motorcycles contributes to many fatal accidents in the state.

While passing the information the governor also warned drives who drive against traffic (one-way) to desist from this act or they reliable to lose their vehicles.
Repeat offenders also risk spending 3 years in jail, while first-time offenders will get a year in the penitentiary.

The governor has advised commercial motorcyclists to look for alternatives before the deadline elapses.
