-Friday, 2nd and Monday, 5th of April have been declared Easter holidays by the Federal Government
-The news was passed through a statement released by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola
-The Minister also informed Nigerians that the government is dealing with kidnappings and banditry being carried out in some areas of the country
The Federal Government has declared Friday, 2nd, and Monday, 5th of April, public holidays to celebrate this year’s Easter.

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola released a statement to confirm this on Tuesday, March 30th.
Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola urged Nigerian Christians to emulate the ways of Christ and display kindness, humility, love, peace, and patience.

The Minister also advised the Citizens to use the Easter holidays to pray for the Peace and Progress of our beloved country.
On the issue of security, the minister informed Nigerians that security is the General duty of everyone in the country.

Nigerians were urged to work with security agencies to ensure peace and the safety of life and property.

Lastly, Nigerians were promised that the government will do everything to deal with the kidnapping and banditry in some parts of the country.
