The Accident Investigation Bureau, Nigeria (AIB -N) has begun investigations into the aircraft crash that caused the death of 11 military officers in Kaduna on Friday.
The crash was responsible for the death of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and his wife.
The General Manager of (AIB -N), Tunji Oketunbi confirmed the commencement of investigations in Lagos on Saturday.
Me Oketunbi stated that investigations will begin with the recovery of the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) from the crashed aircraft.
Investigators will download and analyze vital information present on the devices.
Oketunbi investigators to carry out the investigation diligently and professionally.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Kaduna crash happened upon the landing of the aircraft.
The deceased officers in the aircraft crash were buried on Saturday in Abuja with military honours.
