Nigerian Businessman Adamu Garba’s application Crowwe has been removed from the Google Play Store.

The app termed an instant messaging app/financial app was deleted after multiple negative reviews from Nigerians.
Adamu Garba had hyped up the application to be Nigeria’s answer to Twitter.
The former presidential aspirant even celebrated when Twitter was banned from the country as he trolled Nigerians.

The businessman also praised the federal government for suspending Twitter during an interview with Channels TV.
Nigerians weren’t pleased with Crowwe’s CEO criticism of Twitter and they made their feelings known by giving the app negative reviews on the Play store.

Nigerians criticized the interface and the user experience of the app, with many leaving 1-star reviews.
The app was also reported to be malware after people noticed that it required more permission than a social media application requires.
It remains unknown if the negative reviews were responsible for the removal of the app on the Google Play Store.
