Bishop Oyedepo Issues Stunning Warning to Youths Using Earphones

• The general overseer of Living Faith Worldwide Bishop Oyedepo has warned youths about the use of earphones in the church

• While speaking in the church on August 22 yesterday, he claimed that the device is being abused by those who use it in church

• The cleric also stated that the earpiece was made by the devil to destroy the destiny of young ones and he banned it on the church premises

Pastor-in-charge of the Living Faith Worldwide, David Oyedepo has issued a ban on earphones among youths in the church.

While speaking during yesterday’s sermon, Oyedepo claimed that those using earphones were not ready to hear the word of God and banned the device from church premises.

The controversial cleric went further, stating that earphones were designed by the devil to block the progress of youth that use them by stopping them from hearing God’s word.

“Young generation, please listen to me: all these things you plug in your ear is to block your way forward. It is designed by the devil to block your way forward. “No time to hear from God. Many have never heard anything from God.

They even plug it in anywhere, on the streets: noise, noise, noise! Zero access to divine guidance. Noise in the morning, afternoon, night.”

To reiterate his statement, Bishop Oyedepo told the story of some youth who came to church but failed to listen all through, because they had earphones on.

He claimed that the youth were unaware of their surroundings and eventually they were left behind when other congregants left.
