
Veteran actress, Dame Diana Rigg has passed on at the age of 82. The actress became famous for roles in various Tv series and Movies such as Game of Thrones and Avengers.
The news of her passing was revealed by her daughter, who stated that the actress died of cancer having been diagnosed in March.
Her daughter, actress Rachael Stirling, also revealed that she spent her final months in full love and happiness.
Dame Diana Rigg played the role of Mrs. James Bond in the Bond movie series. In the movie, she had the role of Tracy who got married to George Lazenby’s 007 in the movie series. George Lazenby was one of the celebrities to say something about her passing. The actor stated that it was sad to hear about her death.
Dame Diana Rigg won a new generation of admirers for her role as Olenna Tyrell in Game of Thrones.

Others that paid tribute to the actress include Sir Tom Stoppard, who described her as a luminous talent. Fellow Game of Thrones star, Nicolaj Coster Waldau said the actress had incredible talent and she always raised the bar and set a standard for others.
Dame Diana Rigg won several accolades in her lengthy career. This includes a Bafta TV award for performance in “Mother love” and Bafta special award for her performance in “The Avengers” in 2000. She was also nominated for a primetime Emmy award in 1997.
