Leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau has released an audio clip, directing messages at the new service chiefs.
The leader of the terrorist group was heard telling the service chiefs that they can’t do better than their predecessors in the fight against insurgency.
Shekau started by saying that he had heard about the replacement of the service chiefs.

He advised the new replacements to repent and become Muslims because they are bound to lose the battle against insurgency.
According to HumAngle, Boko Haram plans an attack, to send a message to the new service chiefs that they will not back down.
Four major service chiefs were replaced by President Muhammadu Buhari after there were complaints of lapses in security.
The four chiefs retired include the Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas, and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.
They were replaced by Major-General Leo Irabor, Major-General I. Attahiru, Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, and Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao respectively.
