Yobe State Chemistry Student Emerges Second in World Chemistry Competition

A young Nigeria, Umar Usman Dagonn from Gashua town, Yobe State who represented Nigeria at the World Chemistry competition defeated many global competitors to secure the second position, taking home $400,000 in prize money.

Umar studied NCE chemistry education a tUmar Suleiman Collage of Education in Gashua town, Yobe State when he took part in the “ImagineChemistry” competition and made it to the top five that appeared in the final round.

He eventually made it to the second position, winning the sum of 400,000 dollars.
