Shocking Details About Davido’s Photographer Fortune Shotz’s Death

• The official photographer of Nigerian music star Davido, Fortunate Umunname Peter is dead

• According to various reporters, Fortune Shotz drowned during a shoot in Lagos

• The death of the 24-year-old photographer comes only 3 months after Davido lost another aide and friend Obama DWW to a heart problem

Yet again, there is mourning in the camp of popular Nigerian musician Davido after the death of his personal photographer Fortune Ateumunname.

Popularly known as Fortune Shotz, it was reported that the talented photography drowned at an undisclosed location in Lagos.

The news was broken by a Twitter user @Dianacoco_ who said:

“Davido photographer Fortune is dead, Jesus Christ. I’m heartbroken, he’s my friend.

“I’m sooooo shocked right now, wt*. He shouldn’t have been Fortune God, he’s so hardworking, very ambitious he worked so hard to gain the spot he achieved like wt*. This one is paining me because he is someone I know so well, guy.”

Content great @yhemo_lee on Instagram confirmed that the photographer died while trying angle during a photoshoot.

The death comes only 3 months after the death of another close aide of Davido, Uthman AKA Obama DMW.

Obama DMW passed away on June 29, 2021, after being rushed to the hospital cause of a sudden heart problem.

Fortune Shotz is the fifth member of Davido’s crew to die within the last five years. Others being- Obama DMW, Tagbo, DJ Olu, and Tijani.

Asides from the famous musician, Fortune worked with other amazing stars including Pogba, Popcaan, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, and Wizkid.
