Nigerian Soldier Beats NYSC Corper Over Small Chops

• A soldier has been accused of beating an NYSC Corper and pouring sand on the lady

• The victim of the brutality Ezeiruaku Ifenyinwa Fidelia claims that she was attacked by the military personnel because of an argument over small chops

• The army has stated that Lt. Chika Viola Anele, the soldier responsible has been sanctioned

A serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Ezeiruaku Ifenyinwa Fidelia said Lt. Chika Viola Anele, mixed sand with water and poured it on her because they had an argument over small chops.

She also claimed the officer told her that she was a dirty pig who hadn’t washed her cheap bra for three months, among other derogatory and insulting words.

According to the NYSC corper, the viral video of the army officer humiliating her was recorded on July 28, 2021 in Calabar.

The soldier reportedly bathed the serving corps member with muddy water and smashed a bowl on her during the incident.

Fidelia recounted the incident narrating how the soldier asked her to dress up in NYSC attire and beat and disgraced her.

The dehumanizing moment was captured on video and many have demanded justice of the NYSC Corper.

Although initial reports claim that the military officer responsible for this was transferred rather than disciplined.

The army has disclosed that Lt. Anele has been sanctioned and will be made to undergo trial in line with the Armed Forces provision.
