Mercy Johnson – “I Know I Can’t Dance…”

Nollywood star Mercy Johnson has admitted that she does not know how to dance. Since she gave birth to her fourth child the actress has been sharing fewer photos on her Instagram handle.

Mercy Johnson loves photos and she has many of them on her social media handles. However, she is not a good dancer as some of her fans may think. The actress who is into fashion and beauty trends, and loves to wear gorgeous outfits acknowledged it herself

The actress appeared to be pursuing a brand ambassador contract for a yet to be known anti-malaria company shared a video in which she and her kids were dancing. She added that although she is not a good dancer, she and her kids are dancing because they are malaria-free.

Being one of the most popular actresses in Nollywood the celebrity often makes headlines for her beautiful family photos. She is also widely known for her makeup and beauty products “Mercy’s magic”. Even during the period of her pregnancy and delivery, the actress reserved some time to advertise her products on Instagram.

Mercy Johnson is among the most highly paid female celebrities in Nollywood, thanks to her dynamic acting styles. Before the lockdown came, the Okojies’ commissioned a big hotel in Lagos which was to commence operation before the pandemic came.

Another actress Toyin Abraham admitted to getting over a million naira for a movie role so Mercy Johnson may just be part of that class of celebrities.

Like many other celebrities, Mercy Johnson knows that these are not good times for the entertainment industry. That is why even though she recently had her baby, she has created time for her career.

Getting brand ambassador deals is the easiest way for celebrities to earn big since cinemas are not an option for fear of Covid-19.

On her Instagram handle, she wrote:

I know I can’t dance to save my life… But

My kids & I dancing because mosquitoes can’t hold us down… We stand for a world with Zero malaria.” Mercy Johnson Okojie.
