FFK has demanded N2bn from a Nigerian blogger on claims of false publication.

One of Nigeria’s former ministers of aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has reportedly separated from his wife, Precious Chikwendu. According to Punch, the couple had four sons when they were together.

In the said report, the blogger stated that the couple’s separation was a result of domestic violence. The report also claimed that there is a chance that the triplet sons they have may not have been fathered by the Ex-minister. According to the report, the children were conceived through In-vitro fertilization and that Precious Chikwendu had requested a DNA test.

Following the separation, Fani-Kayode has demanded N2bn from popular blogger, Stella Dimokorkus after she created a report which he regarded as “libelous”.

After this report, FFK has responded by sending a pre-litigation letter to the blogger on September 16, 2020. The letter claimed that the allegations were false and maliciously generated.

FFK claimed that the report was published only to spread false information to the reader. He denied the claims that he has collected belongings he had initially purchased for his wife. The ex-minister was also disappointed that his children were mentioned in the report.

Fani Kayode has stated that due to that publication, he has been subjected to denigrating phone calls from various people. The letter ended with him demanding that the blogger retracts the allegations on all platforms in which they were published. He also demanded that they enter negotiations for the sum of N2bn. According to the letter, Stella Dimokorkus has 14 days to comply or risks facing a lawsuit.

Fani Kayode and Chikwendu got married in 2015 and since then they have welcomed four sons. The first son coming in 2016 before a set of triplets in 2018.
