One of the sons of politician Doyin Okupe has shocked Nigerians after coming out as gay.
Bolu Okupe shared a photo on Thursday, January 21 in which he was holding a rainbow-colored flag and wearing a short of the same color.

Bolu, 27, a graduate of the University of Manchester expressed his homosexual status in the caption as well.
The post was met with different reactions, with some showing support and others expressing their moral opinion on this.
One comment that stood out was that of a Kenyan stating that Bolu would have met an ill fate if he lived in Kenya.
Doyin Okupe has also given his opinion on his son’s sexual status. The former Presidential Spokesperson said that his son’s sexuality is a spiritual challenge for the family.
Okupe who is also an evangelist stated that he has been aware of his son’s sexual orientation for a while. He also revealed that homosexuality goes against the Christian faith.
