Daddy Freeze Accused Of Adultery, Fined N50 Million
-A Port Harcourt high court has ordered Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze to pay N5 million
-The broadcaster has been accused of having an affair with a married woman, Benedicta Elechi.
-Freeze will pay the money to Paul Odekina, the husband of Benedicta at the time of the incident
A High Court in Port Harcourt has ordered broadcaster, Daddy Freeze to pay the sum of N5 million to one Paul Odekina for having an affair with his wife.
The broadcaster has been accused of having an affair with Benedicta Elechi when she was married to Paul Odekina.
The presiding judge, Hon Justice Akpughunum ordered Freeze to pay the money as damages for “depriving Odekina amiable consort of his wife”.
The judge also went on to dissolve the marriage between Paul and Benedicta due to her adultery with the broadcaster/Pastor.
Mr. Odekina was also granted custody of the children in the marriage. Miss Benedicta has been ordered to hand over passports and birth certificates belonging to the children to her husband.

Daddy Freeze confirmed the incident while speaking to respondents of PUNCH. He has promised to release a statement on Instagram before next week.
He added that he is discussing with “appropriate quarters” on how best to address the issue.
