Shocking: Comedienne Princess Reveals What Happened When She First Met Baba Ijesha

We got some insight into the saga between Baba Ijesha and Comedienne Princess that has raged on for months during their appearance at the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja.

Adekola Adekanya popularly known as Princess testified about her relationship with the Yoruba actor and how they first met.

Princess disclosed that she met Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha during an event in 2008 and they decided to start working together.

Comedienne Princess

She alleged that she was wooed by Mr Omiyinka during their work relationship but she initially declined.

However, after her marriage crashed in 2013, she and the actor got close.

The comedienne also disclosed that she invested in the actor’s education after which he visited her.

Also present in court as Princess gave details of her relationship with Baba Ijesha was Iyabo Ojo.

The case was eventually adjourned till the next day by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo after Princess’s counsel played the primary video evidence in court.

Baba Ijesha was represented by Babatunde Ogala SAN while the prosecutor for Princess and the Lagos state government was Olayinka Adeyemi.

Baba Ijesha is facing charges of sexual assault after allegedly molesting a minor that was placed in comedienne Princess’s care on April 22, 2021.
