The Presidency has hinted that Nigerians are happy with President Muhammadu Buhari and as such, Nigerians would still vote for him irrespective of what the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and other opposition parties think or say. This was revealed by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu while addressing State House Correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday. Shehu insisted that ‘should another Presidential election be held today, President Muhammadu Buhari would still win like he did in 2015.’ Buhari will win Presidential election again – Presidency assures Nigerians.
According to the Presidential aide, Nigerians repose unshaken confidence in Buhari because the President is doing what they want. He said this in company of the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina and the SSA on Media and Publicity to the Acting President, Laolu Akande.

In the same vein, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina said it was too early to judge Buhari. He made this known while giving a mid-term report of the All Progressives Congress, APC-led administration. Adesina said this in company of fellow Presidential spokespersons, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu and Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande.
According to the Presidential aide, it was unfair to judge Buhari when he still had two more years in office.
He said: “You cannot write the report card of this administration in two years. The mandate is four years and it is too early in the day. You don’t reach definite term in the mid-term. We will have a lot more to fulfill. If anybody tells you APC has failed, tell them it’s too early in the day, we still have two years, it’s a four year term.”
