Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has shocked everyone with a revelation on her Youtube series titled ‘Bare it all with I.Y’.
The actress revealed that she had been raped 5 times over the years, the first incident happening when she was 14.
The actress decided to share her story to encourage other rape victims to speak up to help tackle sexual violence in society.
The Yoruba actor stated that she was raped by a non-family member when she was staying with her aunt. She also explained how she had to seek protection elsewhere when it happened the second time.
Ojo was raped again at 18 for the 3rd time by a neighbor, who was the friend of her boyfriend then.
She revealed that this incident happened at the Obanikoro axis of Lagos when she went to visit family members.
She decided not to tell her boyfriend to prevent him from harming the perpetrator at that time.

The actress also revealed that she was raped by armed robbers who attacked their home when she was newly married.
She stated that talking about rape incidents is always painful but she encouraged the victims not to feel alone.
