American rapper DMX is on life support with little brain activity after suffering an overdose last week.
Rumors of the rapper’s death broke earlier morning and many took to social media to express their condolences.
DMX’s manager, Steve Rifkind however released a video to deny rumors of his death.
According to Rifkind, the legendary rapper is still alive but remains on life support.

He urged people to let the family relax and that a statement will be released about this later today.
DMX has failed to regain any brain function nearly a week after an overdose.
The rapper has been in critical condition and his family now has to decide whether to take him off life support.

His family, which includes his ex-wife, fiancee, children, and the mother of his children have urged everyone to pray for the rapper legend.
Born Earl Simmons, DMX has been active in the the music industry since 1991.
He also appeared in a couple of movies including “Cradle 2 The Grave” with Jet Li.
