The United States president-elect Joe Biden may have to wear medical boots, his team has revealed after the 78-year-old suffered a fracture while playing with his dog.
Joe Biden’s personal physician, Kelvin O’Connor initially said the X-ray taken had not uncovered any fracture. However, a CT scan proved otherwise, as it revealed a small fracture in the foot.

His physician stated that as a result of the fracture, the former vice president, who defeated Donald Trump in the US presidential elections held on November 3, will be needing walking boots for the next few weeks.
In a retweet of an NBC video that showed Joe Biden leaving an orthopedic facility, Trump wrote “Get well soon!”
Biden, who will become the oldest president of the united State upon his January 20 swearing-in, sustained the injury on Saturday with Major, a German shepherd.
The Biden family reportedly fostered before adopting Major in 2018.
