Jeff Bezos’s Shocking New Technology Will Make You Live Forever

• Billionaire Jeff Bezos is reportedly funding a biotechnology startup that will focus on discovering a way to reverse ageing

Billionaire Jeff Bezos has reportedly invested in a biotechnology startup firm that is focused on finding a cure to ageing.

The firm called Alto Labs was incorporated into the US early in 2021 and has already secured more than $270 million in funding.

The funds will be put into research focused on reprogramming technology for cells that can reverse ageing in animals and humans.

Although little is known about this company, reports gathered have revealed that they have hired 2012 Nobel Prize winner for research Dr Shinya Yamanaka to help with research.

Yamanaka won the prize after adding just four specific proteins to cells that could be instructed to return to their original state.

According to MIT Technology Review, Yamanaka will serve as an unpaid advisor to Altos technology.

Other scientists joining the Altos research team are Dr Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte a Spanish scientist that pioneered research in cell switching.

Asides from Jeff Bezos, Russian billionaire Yuri Milner will also reportedly fund the biotech startup.

This is not Bezos’s first investment in a lab, the Amazon founder has reportedly previously invested in Unity Biotechnology’s anti-ageing unit.
