Facebook Bans Donald Trump’s Voice
Facebook has removed a video of former President, Donald Trump from its platform
The social media platform banned Trump earlier this year for allegedly inciting violence at the Capitol building
The banned video was posted by Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, and contained his vocals
Facebook has reinforced its decision to keep former president, Donald Trump of its space.
The social media giant removed a video of Trump that was posted by his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump.
Lara who is a new Fox News contributor posted a video of an interview with the former US President.
She however received a mail from the social media company almost immediately telling her that the video had been removed.
Lara shared the mail from Facebook which also said that her account will be subject to restrictions if she posts any other Trump video.
Lara decided to post the video on Rumble instead and he shared a link to it on her Facebook.
Lara Trump, who is married to Mr. Trump’s son Eric expressed shock as she shared the news on Instagram.
Donald Trump’s Facebook account has been suspended since 7th January a day after he was accused of inciting the Capitol riots.
Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg defended this by saying that the risk of allowing Trump to use the service was extremely great.
Trump was also banned on other major platforms like YouTube and Twitter.
