Joe Biden has appointed another Nigerian, Funmi Olorunipa into his cabinet in an announcement on Thursday
The US President-elect appointed Ms Olorunipa Badejo into his White House counsel.
The list of counsel contains 20 members who would advise the president on legal issues.
A Nigerian-born legal expert, Funmi Olorunipa Badejo has been appointed by the US President-elect Joe Biden into his cabinet.
The appointment was announced when Biden named additional members into the White House counsel. Badejo is a lawyer and she graduated from Berkeley Law College in the United States.
Her appointment makes her the second Nigerian to make it to the new government’s cabinet.
In December, 2020, a Nigerian-American Osaremen Okolo, was earlier appointed a member of Biden’s COVID-19 response team. Biden will be sworn in on January 20 as the 46th US president.
Meanwhile, we reported earlier that the Nigerian government has directed all telecommunication operators to deregister all SIM cards that are not synchronized with the National Identity Number (NIN) by December 30th 2020.
