The Sweedish entrepreneur has gone a step further to prove that he is serious about his intentions by stating that he has secured the funds for the deal.

The businessman is set to make a “compelling offer” to the owners of his favorite team.

Three Arsenal players, Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry, and Patrick Viera are set to support Ek’s takeover of the club from Kroenke.

38-year-old Daniel Elk is worth $4.7 billion and it is believed that an offer of around £2 billion will convince Stan Kroenke to deal.

Naija FM had reported that Twitter users were urging Dangote to buy the English club.

On a fan’s forum, Kroenke’s son Josh has claimed that his father has no plans to sell the club.

If Ek is however successful with his bid, Henry, Viera, and Bergkamp could return to the club in supervisory roles.
