See Ronaldo’s Shocking Wages as He Returns to Manchester United
-
Manchester United announced the signing of Ex player and football legend Cristiano Ronaldo on Friday
-
The Juventus player was initially poised to join Manchester City but a last-minute bid from former club United and City pulling out completed a transfer turnaround
-
Following his move to England, the Portuguese forward will reportedly earn around £480,000, making him the highest-paid player in the league
The football space was hugely moved yesterday following the return of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United.
Following the transfer of Lionel Messi to Paris Saint Germain, most people expected transfer dramas to end there.
That was not to be the case as the Portuguese forward completed a move to his former club, having been linked to rivals Manchester City in the past few days.
Sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Manchester United paid €23 million – a fee of €15 million with €8 million add-ons to Juventus to complete the return of the player.
The 36-year-old was offered a 2-year contract that will see him earn £480,000 per week until June 2023.

The return of the 5-time Balon Dor winner makes him the highest-earning player in the league ahead of players like Kevin De Bruyne, Grealish, and Pogba.
However, this wage is lower than what the football star earned at Juventus and it means that he’ll drop out of the top 5 football earners in Europe.
Before his £80 million move to Real Madrid in 2009, Ronaldo played for Manchester United for 6 years.
