NYSC And IITA Partners To Create Opportunities For Nigerian Youths

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC and IITA have agreed a partnership deal to create more opportunities for youth

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by both organization to cement the agreement

The MoU was signed during NYSC DG, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim’s visit to IITA office in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

  A partnership deal to open opportunities to youths have been signed by the National Youth Service Corps NYSC and IITA. During a recent visit to IITA headquarters in Ibadan, the two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during a recent visit of Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, the NYSC Director-General. According to IITA Deputy Director General, Partnerships for Delivery, Kenton Dashiell, that although the youth have potentials, but they can only realise it when organizations like NYSC and IITA create the opportunities they need. The NYSC DG while signing the MoU  recommended that both IITA and NYSC should have an administrative officer to mediate activities between both organizations to meet timelines. Meanwhile, we reported earlier that the Nigerian government has directed all telecommunication operators to deregister all SIM cards that are not synchronized with the National Identity Number (NIN) by December 30th 2020.
